KUTA & ULUWATU (Monday)
Departure from the Hotel at 8:00 am
Tour Duration: 8 hours
 |
A
visit to the "hottest spot in town". Kuta, once a small
fishing village, then one of the world's most popular
surf and beach spots, is now also a shoppers paradise.
|
Talented "citizens of the world" have made Kuta the home base
for their export business ventures and a string of interesting
shops become the showcase of thriving garment, jewelry, furniture/home
decoration and handicraft industries.
The strong surf of the Indian Ocean, for ever breaking on to
Kuta's vast stretch of white sandy beach, has long attracted
the "young at heart" from all corners of the world, making it
a cosmopolitan and upbeat destination. Splendid sunsets set
the mood for the nightlife. After surfing and sunbathing during
the day, Kuta seems to slowly wake up again after dark, building
up a party mood well into the wee hours of the night. Multinational
eating experiences, roaring discotheques and bars create a life
of their own.

Before
heading back to the hotel, you will visit the Nusa Dua
tourism complex and the Uluwatu Temple of exquisite architecture,
perched high of a cliff at the |
westernmost tip of the Bukit Peninsula in South Bali. The first
temple on this site was reputedly built in the 11th Century,
with changes to the construction having been recorder in the
16th Century. |
