LAKE LINDU EXPEDITION
(5D/4N)

Day 1: Palu
Upon arrival at Mutiara Airport, Palu, you will be met and directly transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon we take a short city tour culminating with a fascinating sunset over Palu Beach. (D)

Day 2: Palu - Lore Lindu
In the morning, drive for two hours from Palu to Sidaunta, then continue on foot through the natural jungle to Lake Lindu. On the way you will see colorful butterflies and various orchids growing on mossy branches, as well as meeting villagers riding on horseback wearing traditional

dress. Overnight stay at local houses at the banks of the lake. (BLD)

Day 3: Lore Lindu
Take a morning boat cruise on Lake Lindu and along the Kangkoro River to Kangkoro Village, watching birds on the riverbanks. Fresh palm-wine will be served at the village. On the way back, a stop will be made at Bola Island to see the ancient wooden grave of " Mara Dindo" whom, it is believed, was a powerful man in the past. Overnight at local houses. (BLD)

Day 4: Lore Lindu - Palu
In the morning trek to Sidaunta then continue your drive to Palu. Over night at a hotel in Palu. (BLD)

Day 5: Palu - Airport
Your morning is at leisure with opportunities to buy souvenirs (handicrafts of ebony wood, sarongs, weaving etc) from this region. Transfer to airport for your flight to your next destination.

LORE LINDU RESERVE EXPEDITION

Day 1: Palu
Upon arrival at Mutiara Airport, Palu, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a short city tour culminating with a fascinating sunset over Palu Beach. (D)

Day 2: Palu - Kamamora
Today, we drive three hours from Palu to Kamamora, an excellent area for bird watching. Here you can see and hear the noisy flocks of various species of colorful birds. Overnight stay at the Guesthouse in Kamamora. (BLD)

Day 3: Kamamora - Dongi - Dongi
Another full day's bird watching in the vacinity of Kamamora amongst beautiful Eucalyptus Trees. Lunch will be served on the banks of Dongi-Dongi River, located between the Anaso Logging Camp and Kamamora. Overnight at the Kamamora Guest House. Full board is included. (BLD)

Day 4: Kamamora - Anaso
Today, we drive three hours from Palu to Kamamora, an excellent area for bird watching. Here you can see and hear the noisy flocks of various species of colorful birds. Overnight stay at the Guesthouse in Kamamora. (BLD)

Day 5: Kamamora - Lake Tambing
Another early morning departure, this time to Lake Tambing. Take a 25 minutes walk from the road to the natural jungle with yellow and green Lorikeets accompanying you to the lake. Overnight at a Guesthouse. (BLD)

Day 6: Kamamora - Palu - Airport
After bird watching around the Guesthouse during the morning, we drive back to Palu, arriving in time for your transfer to Mutiara Airport to meet your flight to your next destination. (BL)
