BUNAKEN SCUBA DIVING

Day 1
On arrival at Sam Ratulangi Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative then transferred to Manado for check in and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast, enjoy a full day diving at

Bunaken Island. Lunch will be served at bunaken Beach. Return to your hotel for another overnight stay. (BL)

Day 3
Same program as Day 2, but in other areas such as Siladen Island. (BL)

Day 4
After breakfast, it's leisure time until you transfer to Sam Ratulangi Airport, leaving for next destination. (B)

MINAHASA COUNTRYSIDE
(5D/4N)

Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at Sam Ratulangi airport you will be met and assisted by our representative and transferred to hotel. Overnight at middle class hotel in Menada.

Day 2: Coconut - Nutmeg - Tuna Fish Tour
Take a full day tour to the Coconut Research Institute, Maumbi Village the place of birth of Mrs Waalanda Maramis one of the Indonesia heroines of human rights and a nutmeg processing plant on the way to the ocean port of Bitung. On to the Tuna Fish harbour of Aertembaga with nice views of Tandu Ruda and Lembah Island in the background. Visit Waruga, the ancient tombs of the Minahasa ancestors that are the remnant of the megalithic age. (BL)

Day 3: Minahasa Highland Tour
Leave for Tinoor Highland with its panoramic views over Manado City, the bay, Bunaken Island, Manado Tua Island and Siladden Island. Travel to Tomobon, the town between two active volcanoes with its Christian activities (Protestant & Catholic) and Lake Linow, a unique and colourful lake of half hot and half cold water. Visits are made to Leilem, the home of the wood industry, the Japanese caves built during the second world war at Kawangkoan, Karumenga Hot Spring and Remboken, a tourist site at the edge of beautiful Lake Tondano. In the afternoon, you return to your hotel at Manado. (BL)

Day 4: Free
After breakfast, the day is completely at leisure. (B)

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, it's leisure time until transport arrives to take you to the airport. (B)

MINAHASA TREKKING
(7D/6N)

Day 1: Airport - Manado City - Bahu Beach - Remboken
On arrival at Sam Ratulangi airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant followed by a city tour visiting the Second World War Monument, a reminder of the destruction of Manado Town and its victims during the war, Ban Hing Kiong Temple (Worship place of the "Kong Hu Cu" believers), the Sea Shell collection of Mr John Rahasia, The Orchid Garden, Bumi Beringin, the residential area of the Governor of North Sulawesi Province, Sam Ratulangi University, Bahu Beach, and then to Remboken on the edge of lovely Lake Tondano Overnight in a simple cottage or house. Day 2: Trekking Lokon and Mahawu Volcano
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tomohon, Kakaskasen. Begin trekking to Lokon Volcano (1580m) and Mahawu Volcano (1311m) above sea level. Visit Woloan Village to see the traditional Minahasan houses, Tara-Tara Village, an impressive view of rice field and Mt. Lokon in the background. Groups of 10 persons or more will enjoy a performance of the Cakalele War Dance, the Maengket Dance and Kolintang music) Overnight at Remboken. (BLD)

Day 3: Trekking to Rurukan Vilage & Lake Linow
After breakfast, you will take a sightseeing tour to Tomohon market and then trek to Rurukan Village where local people make palm sugar and alcohol from palm wine. Continue trekking to Mt. Masaarang (1200m) and the unique and colourful Lake Linow at Lahendong, Mt. Tampusu (1200m). Return to Remboken and overnight at a cottage or house. (BLD)

Day 4: Exploring Tangkoko Nature Reserve
Early in the morning depart for Tangkoko nature reserve. You will spend the whole day exploring the nature reserve which is inhabited by rare animals such as : Maleo Birds (related to scrub turkeys with their eggs six times larger than chicken eggs), Babi Rusa (small tusked pig like animals distantly related to hippos), Hornbill, Cuscuss, Black Apes, and Tarsius Sppectrum, the smallest monkey in the world at 15 cm long, 200 grams in weight with a long tail. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at the PPA hut on the beach ot Tangkoko. Overnight and camping at Tangkoko. (BLD)

Day 5: Trekking Mt. Klabat
Today you still have half a day to explore Tangkoko and after lunch you will be transferred to the Airmadidi District for trekking Mt. Klabat (1995m). Camp overnight at the summit of Mt. Klabat and await the sunrise. (BLD)

Day 6: Airmadidi - Manado
After breakfast, you will descend the slope of Mt. Klabat to Airmadidi then transfer to Manado City. Lunch will be provided at a restaurant or hotel. Following lunch, your time is free. Dinner and overnight at a local hotel. (BLD)

Day 7: Manado - Airport
After breakfast, you have free time until your transport arrives to take you to the airport to depart for your next destination. (B)

NOTE: The trekking itineraries may change if conditions in the area are dangerous or not suitable due to heavy rains, landslides, earthquakes or toxic volcanic gas eruptions.
