Note: The famous and spectacular ritual Pasola ceremony
is when hundreds of horsemen fight wildly with spears. This
ceremony takes place only in West Sumba during the months of
February and March. Bookings should be made many months in advance
to secure accommodation, as this is a local and international
attraction. |
